Certified Citronella Essential Oil
Extraction Method: Steam Distillation

Blends Well With: Cedarwood, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Lavender, Lemongrass, Sandalwood
Uses: For aromatherapy use, add 1-2 drops of citronella essential oil, along with water, into a diffuser. Citronella’s aroma has been described as woody, with notes of citrus.
Massage- For an invigorating massage, add 2-4 drops of citronella essential oil to 2 Tbsp. of carrier oil such as coconut, olive or jojoba. Apply the combined oil to the skin until absorbed.

Carpet Freshener (That fleas hate)
15 drops Citronella
8 drops Spearmint
7 drops Lemon
10 drops Orange
2 1/2 cups Baking Soda
Vacuum carpet well. Combine all ingredients in a plastic container and sprinkle on the carpet. Wait at least 1 hour before vacuuming again. Vacuum slowly. Throw out vacuum bag when you finish.
Mosquito Free Balm
15 drops Citronella
10 drops Cedarwood
5 drops Patchouli
4 drops Bergamot
¼ cup Shea Butter
1 tablespoon Fractionated Coconut Oil
Melt Shea Butter to just barely melted. Remove from heat and Blend all ingredients together. Apply to exposed skin before heading outside

Oil Specific: Citronella essential oil is generally considered safe for inhalation and diluted, topical use. High concentrations of citronella essential oil can cause skin irritation, always dilute the oil with a carrier oil before topical application. Consult a health care provider before using citronella essential oil on children, pregnant or breastfeeding women. Citronella essential oil is highly concentrated and can be toxic if ingested. Do not consume citronella essential oil unless under the strict supervision of a health care provider.
